Milk & Cookies baby shower

K asked me to design cupcakes that would fit with the Milk & Cookies themed baby shower she was throwing. She planned to make a six layered giant chocolate chip cake so I wanted to match her style. We decided on chocolate cupcakes with white buttercream frosting to act as the {milk} and then I placed small chocolate chip cookies on top to finish the look. A fun twist and a tasty treat!

Go Team

I was commissioned to make basketball cupcakes for Grand Rapids Catholic Central as they are playing their district finals tonight. They had a choice of chocolate basketball cupcakes or yellow cupcakes with a "C" for cougars. Good luck Lady Cougars!

Not just for dessert...Zucchini Spice Cupcakes w Caramel Buttercream

A friend of mine wanted to order a dozen cupcakes that she could eat for breakfast in the morning with her coffee. I could have gone with the chocolate standby but instead I took her request as a challenge to find a "breakfast cupcake." The zucchini spice cupcake is packed with zucchini, toasted walnuts and spices that give it a full rich flavor. Topped off with caramel buttercream in a thin consistency ensures that you don't feel you are eating cake for breakfast instead you are treating yourself to a few bites of bliss.

Bridal Shower = 3 doz yellow buttermilk cupcakes + 3 doz chocolate cupcakes

S wanted to use cupcakes as part of the table centerpiece for her sister's bridal shower. So we decided on fushia and white buttercream frosting to compliment the colorful gerber daisies that they were using in the middle of the tables. The 2 cupcake flavors gave guests options and made for a beautiful contrast display. Thank you for the opportunity to bake for you S!

L's Birthday

For my friend L's birthday I went with a chocolate cupcake and buttercream frosting. The white and dark contrast gives them a dramatic look and the flavors are great together. I love that my friends LOVE cupcakes! Happy Birthday L!
