M & A's Christmas Party

These are mint chocolate cupcakes with mint buttercream frosting. A fancy but fun dessert for party attenders. They looked great on the beautiful table and went well with all the other Hors d'oeuvres. Thanks M & A, for the opportunity to create.

Chocolate Mint Cupcake w Mint Buttercream Frosting

I have made this combination for multiple holiday events and have gotten the same response- YUM! The pairing of a mint chocolate cupcake with creamy mint buttercream is festive and delicious.

Pumpkin Party

These jack-o-lantern cupcakes were the perfect treat for a pumpkin party. I used yellow buttermilk cupcakes as the base and buttercream frosting to make the pumpkins. The face is made with semi-sweet chocolate. All together they add up to a fun tasty treat.

Pretty in Pink and White

Pink and white buttercream paired with chocolate cupcakes were elegant for this bridal shower. The bride wanted a fun dessert with sophistication. I displayed the cupcakes on the tables with different cake stands to make them a focal point as well as the dessert. She received multiple comments from guests about how fun it was to eat cupcakes because they hadn't in a long time. Just another reminder that cupcakes aren't just for kids!

A Baby Shower

  

For a baby boy celebration I chose to make yellow buttermilk cupcakes w swiss meringue buttercream in very light shades of blue and green. This cake is moist and light topped with icing that is creamy not sugary.

What a delicious way to celebrate with an expectant mom!

September Cupcake- Red Velvet w Cream Cheese Frosting

Today I perfected my Red Velvet Cupcake. It is especially moist and pairs perfectly with the cream cheese frosting. Who knew a cupcake that's vibrant red could taste so grown-up?

 

Cupcakes for a Barbeque

I was asked by my friend Emily to cater her annual BBQ. She served up great barbeque sandwiches and thought it would be fun to have cupcakes as the dessert. 

I thought it was a great idea as well. :)

I chose to make an array of cupcakes so guests would have options. They were:

- chocolate cupcakes w chocolate frosting

- yellow buttermilk cupcakes w fluffy white frosting

- yellow buttermilk cupcakes w swiss meringue buttercream frosting 

- strawberry cupcakes w strawberry meringue buttercream

The cupcakes turned out great and I have to say disappeared quickly.
